Currently, applying multiple quick filters in LaunchBox requires users to manually set each filter every time. This request proposes the ability to save and reuse sets of quick filters, enabling faster, more flexible filtering of large libraries.
Add a “Save Filter” option to the quick filter panel.
Users can name and store custom sets of filters.
Saved filters can be quickly accessed and toggled from a dropdown or sidebar in the quick filter panel.
Optionally allow editing and deleting saved filters.
A user creates a saved filter for finding games to start, with the following conditions:
Installed = True
Progress Status = Not Started
Community Rating = 5 stars
Rather than re-selecting each condition every time, the user simply applies the saved filter from a list and immediately sees matching games.
Saves time for users who frequently apply the same filtering conditions.
Offers more flexibility than auto-playlists, which permanently save filtered sets but lack the on-the-fly toggling of quick filters.
Ideal for users who want to explore or queue games without altering their permanent library structure.
Makes it easier to experiment with combinations of filters before turning them into a playlist.
