Add “Move Media/ROMs to Another Drive” Wizard

📋 Summary

Introduce a built-in wizard that allows users to move ROMs, images, videos, music, manuals, and other media associated with a platform to another location or drive—without requiring manual folder reassignment or path editing. This would simplify storage management for large LaunchBox setups and make relocating content seamless.

❗ Problem

As collections grow—especially with full-platform sets, videos, and high-resolution box art—disk space becomes a limiting factor. Currently, moving ROMs or media to another disk requires:

• Manually copying files

• Manually updating paths in the Edit Platform window

• Risk of breaking links or corrupting file references

• No way to bulk move platform content while preserving folder structure

This process is error-prone and time-consuming, particularly for users who want to reorganize their LaunchBox library across multiple drives.

💡 Proposal

Add a “Move Media/ROMs to Another Location” option when right-clicking a platform, or via Tools > Media Tools. The wizard would:

1. Let users select which platform they want to move assets for

2. Offer checkboxes for what to move (e.g. ROMs, Images, Video Snaps, Music, Manuals, Theme Videos, etc.)

3. Let users select a destination drive/folder

4. Automatically move selected content while preserving internal LaunchBox folder structures

5. Update internal paths in LaunchBox so everything continues to function correctly

Optional features:

• Show estimated space savings before confirming

• Option to consolidate multiple platforms in the same target location

• Move media for individual games instead of whole platforms
