📋 Summary
Currently, LaunchBox allows you to change how notifications are displayed—via LaunchBox Notifications, Windows Notifications, or Message Boxes. However, none of these options fully disable notifications, and all can feel intrusive depending on the workflow.
❗ Problem
There’s no native way to completely disable notifications.
The closest workaround is to set notifications to Windows and then manually block them in Windows’ settings—an awkward and unintuitive solution.
Existing options (LaunchBox popups, Windows notifications, message boxes) can be distracting, especially during long sessions of adding or updating games.
💡 Proposal
Add a setting to:
Fully disable notifications across LaunchBox, OR
Offer a minimal mode with subtle, non-intrusive notifications.
For example, replace large popups with small progress bars or banners (like the current top-of-screen progress indicator when importing games) that don’t interrupt workflow.
🧩 Benefits
Cleaner, distraction-free experience for users who don’t want constant popups.
Reduces screen clutter, especially for multi-monitor setups.
More control over how information is presented without resorting to OS-level workarounds.
