FEATURE REQUEST: Let us customize the main menu in Big Box!

I've been using Big Box with a lifetime license for many years now and I absolutely love it! I’ve spent more than five years creating my own custom theme and building my dream setup. The customization options that LaunchBox and Big Box offer are incredible, but there’s one thing that has always bothered me deeply: the main menu in Big Box!

It’s far too long and cluttered with options I NEVER use and NEVER will use. I don’t need many of the filters, like “View Publisher,” “View Statuses,” “View Sources,” or things like “Start Themes Demo,” etc. Menu items like “Manage Themes” or “Theme-Specific Options” are also no longer necessary for me since my setup is fully configured.

But the real nightmare? “Sleep,” “Reboot,” and the ultimate final boss: “Shut Down.” I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve cursed out loud because I accidentally clicked on “Shut Down” when I just wanted to exit Big Box—just because I pressed up on my controller one time too many!

It’s baffling to me that a frontend with nearly endless customization options doesn’t allow us to tailor the main menu in Big Box. It’s time for this to change, and so I kindly ask Jason Carr to please implement this feature.

We need the ability to customize the Big Box main menu to fit our personal needs!
Under the "Options" section in the main menu, there should be an option to hide each individual menu item.

Two versions of this could work:

Option 1: Only the “Options” menu cannot be hidden, preventing users from locking themselves out of making further changes.

Option 2: Even “Options” can be hidden, but this can be reset or changed via the LaunchBox desktop app.

If this feature gets implemented—and I truly and respectfully urge you, Jason, to make it happen—then my setup would finally be perfect. And I am 100% CERTAIN the entire Big Box community would absolutely love and celebrate this simple but essential feature.
