Download Bezels/Overlays for Android

Overview

The Windows version of LaunchBox includes a great feature that downloads bezels/overlays and generates CFG files, making it easy to enhance the visual experience of retro games. This request is to bring a similar functionality to the Android version, even if initially limited to RetroArch and/or MAME.

Proposed Features

1️⃣ Automatic Bezel/Overlay Downloading

1. Enable automatic downloading of bezels from the LaunchBox database for supported platforms.

2. Store downloaded overlays in a designated folder for easy access.

2️⃣ RetroArch & MAME Configuration Support

• For RetroArch: Automatically create the necessary .cfg files to apply the downloaded overlays.

• For MAME: Place overlays in the correct directories and generate config files as needed.

• Allow users to toggle overlays on/off within LaunchBox settings.

3️⃣ Custom Bezel Management

• Users should be able to manually add custom bezels and assign them to games or platforms.

• Provide a folder structure and naming convention for easy manual customization.
