Currently, when adding media to a platform (not to individual games), LaunchBox supports only a limited set of image categories:

Users who want to add additional media—such as controller images, manuals, accessories, or platform packaging—have no choice but to assign them to the generic “Device” category, which becomes a catch-all and undermines proper organization.
Add the following new image types specifically for platforms:
• 📦 Platform Box (optionally split into box-front, box-back, box-3D, and box-full)
• 🎮 Controller
• 🎛️ Accessories
• 📘 Manual
Additionally, introduce a rotatable 3D model for the platform’s retail box, similar to the game box feature—ideally supporting all 6 sides (front, back, top, bottom, left, right). These assets are already available online, and since most platforms only have one or two box variants (per region), this is highly feasible.
✅ Proper categorization: Users can organize and audit platform media more effectively without misusing the “Device” tag.
✅ Big Box integration: These new image types could be referenced in custom Big Box themes, allowing theme creators to display rich, detailed visuals for consoles.
✅ Nostalgia and preservation: Many collectors value original hardware packaging, manuals, and accessories—this feature helps digitally preserve that experience.
✅ Cleaner user experience: With clearly defined categories, media browsing becomes more intuitive and visually satisfying.
