Add a more intuitive way to launch specific discs for multi-disc games, replacing the current method where each disc is listed under Additional Applications using raw file names. This would provide cleaner navigation and a better user experience
Currently, LaunchBox lists additional discs as separate “Additional Apps” using their file names. This approach creates clutter and makes it hard to identify the correct disc, especially for less technical users. There’s no native interface to pick which disc to start with when launching a multi-disc game.
When importing a multi-disc game, group all discs under a unified game entry
Automatically label each disc as “Disc 1,” “Disc 2,” etc., rather than using file names
Present a “Choose Disc to Launch” option either on game startup or through a context menu
Hide this option for single-disc games for a cleaner experience
Simplifies launching specific discs in multi-disc games
Reduces confusion by avoiding raw file name exposure
Creates a cleaner interface without bloating the “Additional Apps” section
Aligns with other disc-related improvements like smarter swap handling and visual cues
