Currently, LaunchBox’s quick filters only allow users to filter by what a field is — there’s no option to exclude values using an “IS NOT” condition. This request proposes adding support for inverse filtering, making it faster and more intuitive to exclude unwanted entries.
Add a new condition type: “IS NOT” to the quick filter logic.
Available for fields with predefined values (e.g. Platform, Progress Status, Region).
Functionally the opposite of “IS” — users select one or more values to exclude from results.
Show all games except Windows titles by filtering: Platform IS NOT Windows.
Filter out games with a Progress Status of “Dropped” or “Won’t Play”:
Progress IS NOT Dropped, Progress IS NOT Won’t Play.
Exclude a specific genre or developer from your search without selecting every other value manually.
Greatly simplifies the process of excluding specific categories or tags.
Saves time, especially for users with large libraries and many options to filter through.
Improves discoverability by allowing users to filter out known items they’re not interested in.
Brings LaunchBox’s filtering capabilities more in line with advanced search systems.
