Optional Alternate Image Categories for Box Art and Other Existing Media Types

📋 Summary

Add optional alternate image subcategories for existing media types, such as alternate box art slots for standard and variant releases.

❗ Problem

Some games have multiple legitimate versions of the same artwork, such as standard retail covers, Greatest Hits releases, Platinum editions, Player’s Choice versions, and other alternate packaging.

Right now, there is no clean built-in way to keep those versions separate within the same image category. Users who want to preserve alternate box art have to overwrite one version, ignore the others, or use awkward workarounds.

💡 Proposal

Add optional alternate image slots for existing categories, such as:

• Box - Front - Alt 1

• Box - Back - Alt 1

• Box - Spine - Alt 1

• Box - 3D - Alt 1

These could be disabled by default and only shown when enabled in Options, so they do not add clutter for users who do not need them.

📦 Benefits

• Makes it easier to preserve multiple official artwork variants

• Helps collectors organize alternate retail versions cleanly

• Avoids overwriting or mislabeling existing art

• Keeps the feature optional for users who want a simpler setup

This is a narrower request than full custom image types.
