Place Your Games

• LaunchBox automatically creates folders for different gaming systems (like Atari 7800, NEC TurboGrafx-16, etc.) inside your "LaunchBox\Games" folder.

• Simply drag and drop your ROM files into the correct folder. For example, if you have Atari 7800 games, put them into the "Atari 7800" folder.

Automatic Magic

• LaunchBox will instantly notice the new games you've added.

• It will then automatically:

  • Add the games to your LaunchBox library.

  • Find information about each game (like its name, release date, etc.) from our online database.

  • Download some basic images for each game, so they look good in your library (One of each: Box - Front, Clear Logo, Screenshot - Gameplay, and Fanart - Background).

  • Create a new section in your LaunchBox side bar under "Platforms" and "Platform Categories" for the system you added games for.

Playing Your Games (Easy Emulators):

• If LaunchBox supports automatically downloading the emulator for the games you added, here’s what happens:

  • When you try to play a game, LaunchBox will ask if you want to download the emulator.

  • Click "Yes," and LaunchBox will handle the download and setup for you.

  • Click "Play" again, and your game will start!
